History of Canes Iowa

Midwest Pride started as a side project in 2011 our owner realized there weren’t many competitive aspects in his area for his own children. He also received great interest from other parents wanting the ability to receive more high-end coaching and competitive play. Our company started with one team of kids with all different skill levels with a goal of making them better athletes and to play against better competition to increase their level of play. Our business started this as a side project to make a little extra money, the business quickly grew into something that we never expected. 11 years later it is the other way around and has turned into a full-time business, with increased growth each season.

Over the last 12 years we have gone from one of the worst clubs in the area competitively to one of the strongest clubs in the state. Each year we have added more equipment, staff, and players. In early years we had to really strive to get players now with our name we have great interest from great ball players in the area.
